Hell Bent on Copenhagen
Today was a really good day, and if you wonder why it’s because we had a lot of fun in Copenhagen. Ferckinclerser had planned everything of beforehand and we even had maps where yarn stores and cafes were marked out. Zeta and Bonnie met up in Copenhagen.
At first we went to La Glace to have CAKE and coffee/tea. Cake to die for.
Then we went to Sommerfuglen to look at some yarn, and to buy some too.
We had lunch at Torvehallerne, Smørrebrød and pizza 🙂
Of course we also went to Uldstedet.
..and who can say no to ice cream? They were gigantic! We all ordered “small” ones.
It might be so that we have to go on a yarn trip again! It was especially fun that Zeta and Bonnie could come. (And thanks again for all the planning you did Ferckinclerser)
Things we have knitted
Who doesn’t like a finished project? I guess we all do, that feeling when you make the last stitch or when you just have weaved in the last end.. And speaking of finished projects, here are some things that Susanne and Sofie have made.
If you haven’t discoverd Ravelry yet, check it out because there are loads, and loads of inspiration on the site. Hell bent on knitting are also on Ravelry, and you can find the group here. What will be your next project?
(Sofie have made the really colorful table cloth/blanket, and scarf and hat)(Susanne have made the cute mittens and the white hat).
Beware the wind
I just wanted to share a funny story which might be something to think keep in mind if you like to knit outside. I was sitting on the balcony the other day knitting, when a gust of wind blew the yarn away.. 5 floors down into the garden. Next time I’ll put the skein in a bag or maybe watch it more carefully 😉 Do you have a funny story involving needles and yarn?
