It all started with a post in our facebook-group which announced; ”Ideas for baby knitting – GO!”.
A few hours later we had a long thread with useful tips and lovely pattern-suggestions. Here they come so they get to meet the rest of the internetz…
Things we actually found useful
– cardigans for newborns up to about 6-7 months or so
– sweaters from about 7 months onwards
– sleep sacks, because putting on pants takes up way too much time in the beginning
– hats with ties or balaclavas

This cardi is amazing, I made the 1year size, and he was able to wear it at about 5 months, and it still fits comfortably now (1 year old).
Easy sleep sack pattern, I added a draw string around the waist.
Great hat if you wear the baby
Coat extension for babywearing in cold weather
This blanket have been used every day for almost two years. It might not look that special but the good thing is that it is elastic, thin and large. Its very useful!
These booties were very appreciated since I placed a drawstring around the ancle. Pretty much the only footwear that the baby didn’t manage to kick off…
